STEPS TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE

If you find yourself not knowing what to do next in life, you must accept that in order for a positive change to happen, it must begin within - YOU need to change!

Change comes from the inside out not the other way around, it's an internal process.

Instead of looking for someone or something else to blame for how you feel or where you are in life, concentrate on becoming the person you always aspired to be.

A good place to start is by modeling someone you admire, developing traits, qualities and habits that will build you, in addition to increasing confidence and faith in yourself.

Try the following to gain clarity;

1) Take out a sheet of paper and split it into two; on the first column describe your present reality. On the second column describe where you'd like to be;
List at least 3 goals you've been wanting to accomplish.
For example, I want to create a loving and supportive relationship with my spouse. I want to lose 30 lbs, etc.

2) Ask yourself, why do you want this change and how will you benefit as a result? What is stopping you from being where you want to be now? What will happen if things remain the same?

3) Dare to venture out of your comfort zone - let your mind soar on the wings of your imagination - create a compelling vision of yourself and your life.

4) Break bad habits and create new  empowering ones; Habits, much like a muscle, become stronger with use - the more you practice, the more they become ingrained within.

Some things to consider;

* Do things in a different way, become curious and ask yourself questions; It's the only way to gain a better perspective.

* Consistency and determination are the key for sustainable change.

* Success is determined by the fruits of your labor which are the benefit and results you achieve.

Be a leader. Set an example for yourself and others.

SPRING IS A TIME OF REBIRTH AND RENEWAL

"Spring has arrived. Passover is here."

We have finally finished cleaning the chametz (spring cleaning) from all
corners ...
Everything is clean, tidy and ready for the Holiday.

But what about inner cleansing?

Maybe it's time to get rid of anything that sours our heart?

The time has come to say to anything that makes us feel badly, in body or soul: Thank you for showing me the painful area, but I do not need you any more, I've realized ... "

What a wonderful feeling it could be, if we're liberated from anything constricting and distressing; Big and small resentments, disappointments, frustrations and all other negative energies.

We should take it upon ourselves to be completely liberated from restricting perceived limitations, break out the prison we have built with our own hands and move on emancipated.

We've already experienced true freedom ... It is a feeling we all aspire to achieve. All we need to do is connect to the same energy.

In order to be free, we must understand and accept that everything in life has endless meanings and multiple inner truths ... we've  experienced the Revelation at Mount Sinai; We have seen the truth from all angles.

Wishing everyone, a happy and bright Passover! May the spring bring new beginnings and exciting surprises, multiple blessings, prosperity, and success blooming in all walks of life.

May we never lose hope and always be surrounded by warmth and love, Amen!

THERE'S A SILVER LINING BEHIND EVERY CLOUD ~

How do we rise up again from a tragedy occurring in life? How can we go on living?

All throughout life we go through various experiences shaping, adding color and depth to the person we become. There are situations people go through, that end up leaving them terribly scarred; Some don't possess the strength and fortitude in order to put the pieces together again.

One of the worst things that can happen to a human being, God forbid, is having to deal with a loss of a child. It seems so unbearable and unnatural.

I would like to share a true story inspired by what I recently experienced during my last visit abroad.

I knew I was about to have a fun, interesting evening with my friend, but nothing could've prepared me for what happened next.

We were out on the street waiting for a taxi to arrive, suddenly, we heard festive music from across the road.

It was in fact our taxi driver honking at us. The taxi was lit up like a Christmas tree. A big smile came upon our faces as we crossed the street.

As I opened the taxi door and sat down, I couldn't stop grinning. I felt overwhelmed, completely immersed by this unexpected wave of positive energy.

I sensed the warmth spreading throughout my whole body. The music, the lights outside and inside the taxi, the driver's smiling face welcoming and greeting us warmly, all together created this magical feeling.

It took me a minute to take it all in. I noticed the driver's name plate and said; "Wow Moshe!! I think you're amazing!!
You're doing such a wonderful thing!!"

The driver looked at me with a puzzled expression on his face and said, "Why?"

"How can anyone remain oblivious?! You are making people happy!! You are spreading positive energy, pure goodness to your passengers and to the world!", I  answered enthusiastically.

"Thank you. l'll share something, with your permission." Moshe said quietly.

"Of course", I said!

He followed with, "It may come as a surprise to you, but less than a year ago, I buried my 26 year old daughter."

The big smile on my face turned into a painful twisting in my heart.

"My daughter was involved in a terrible car accident. For reasons that have yet to be revealed, God took her away from us." Moshe continued in a heavy voice.

"My family went through hell, my wife lost her will to live. I can't even begin to describe to you ... "

"About four months ago, I woke up. I mean literally woke up! After I saw myself derailing and spiraling out of control."

"I decided that I cannot continue living life this way. I had to change for myself and for the sake of my family. I knew in my heart, my beloved daughter wouldn't wish for me to grieve endlessly but to the contrary, celebrate her beautiful life, by keeping her memory alive in a healthy way."

"That day I went to the store determined to turn my taxi into a joyful experience for my customers. A little voice inside told me it would somehow ease my pain and suffering."

"Everyday I make a conscious choice; Instead of thinking about and fueling my own pain and misery, I invest my efforts into doing good, putting smiles on people's faces. I enjoy it, as it makes me feel good!"

"Don't get me wrong, it is still a daily struggle. My daughter was the apple of my eye."

"I pray for God to give us the strength to move forward and I thank him everyday for my wife and family. I no longer question anything. I realize I don't know everything, none of us do."

"I gain strength by recharging myself daily, by giving love and care to my family, the people around me, as well as my passengers. I don't worry about the future, I just take care of today."

This experience touched my heart very deeply. It shows the true nature of the human spirit. It cannot be broken.

I believe anyone can learn from this story, even if it only serves as a point of reference or an additional perspective on life.

ALWAYS SEE THE GLASS HALF FULL

Our way of thinking bears the most crucial factor in our reality. How we process our thoughts and the meaning we attach to what we think about, determines the quality of our lives.

We all have thoughts occupying  our minds. The problem is most of us don't spend time pondering; What and How to think.

What do you spend most of your time energy and thoughts on??

At times it may seem as if we don't have a choice in the matter, but the fact is, we can always learn how to think better.

Optimism, gratitude along with having a loving approach towards ourselves as well as others, empowers us and makes us feel good inside.

Adopting a positive outlook, doing our best to improve as well as progress, builds the strength we need in order to overcome difficulty, living a life brimming with joy and love.

It begins with awareness; "I can choose what to think." We can learn how to think better, and increase our chances to experience a life full of love, happiness and inner fulfillment.

We must keep in mind that thoughts come and go, like a passing breeze. At any given moment we can choose to focus on thoughts that create pleasant feelings and evoke the energy of love and joy within us.

As humans, we have an innate ability to create in us energetic frequencies that directly affect the emotions we want to experience.

I encourage you to try this exercise to inspire within the sentiments of your choice.

Sit in a quiet place, take a few deep breaths and exhale out. Allow your imagination to run freely.

Look at yourself and your life as an observer, be aware of the various aspects of your life. Choose to concentrate on the good and the brighter side of things - it is there, you just need to be more conscious of it.

Allow yourself to see the connections between everything that occurs in your life - realize it all happens for your very best.

Think for a moment, how will your life be if you began every thought with a sense of love in your heart.

If you train yourself to see the glass as half full, it will always be filled anew.

It is my pleasure to guide you through this process, feel free to contact me.
