CHANGING YOUR BELIEF SYSTEM FOR SUCCESS



How well do you know yourself?

Your belief system governs your thoughts, words and actions.

Is your belief system helping you to move forward or is it perhaps hindering your progress in life?

When operating from a limited belief system, we tend to unconsciously attract people and circumstances that reinforce those beliefs; that in turn induces us to dig deeper into the hole that we're already in ...

The first step to take, in order to create a sustainable change, is to become AWARE of your internal dialogue; is the language you are using with yourself making you feel weak, or, empowered?

Do you feel you are worthy and deserving to be happy and successful in life, or are you constantly beating yourself up thinking you'll never "amount to anything?"

It's time to rid yourself of all negativity, and focus on what is in your best interests.

No matter what our past experiences were, we are still capable of turning things around.

No one can help us more than we're able to help ourselves. 

The power to make the change is within us. However, intention alone won't do it - we must take deliberate action.

All we need to do, is learn how to "plug in", and channel the power readily available to us at all times, in the best way possible for ourselves and for those around us.

WHY SHOULD I FORGIVE

We have the power to turn any painful ending into a loving beginning
 
So why should I forgive?

-Because if won't forgive, it will end up hurting me more than anyone else.

- Because when I forgive others I will be healed.

- Because the act of forgiveness will cut the cords that tied me to the person who has hurt me.

- Because love and forgiveness will help me rise above any obstacle, difficulty or pain.

- Because I am not going to continue allowing someone else's behavior to define who I am: I'll forgive the past and set myself free. 

- Because no one can take the right to choose how to react in every situation away from me. 

- Because I can't control another person's behavior toward me, but I can control my reaction.

- Because the past is in the past, and the only way it can hurt me is if I keep holding on to it.

- Because the only way I can experience true happiness and freedom, is when I let go of things in which no longer serve me.

 - Because I know I have the power to forgive, and that forgiveness is an act of strength.

I choose to always do my best to come from a place of love and forgiveness, because that is who I truly am. 

Because I can! Can you think of any other reasons we should forgive?

ARE YOU A TRUTH SEEKER?

We often experience difficulties in climbing out beyond our comfort zones in order to possess the ability to recognize our own flaws, and the injustice we cause ourselves and others. 

It isn't easy for us to look within and admit that there are certain parts about us that need to be amended or changed. 

Why? Because it brings about an internal unrest.

Many of us have become experts in suppressing our emotions and unpleasant thoughts about ourselves, while we search for flaws in others. 

Often times we'll easily find the imperfections in those around us, and with the discovery an immediate pleasant feeling will awaken. 

The irony, is that what we end up finding wrong in others, invariably lays in us.

By pointing our finger towards another, we produce a false sense of superiority within: "I'm dealing with 'damaged goods' ...it can't possibly be me ... I'm much better than that ... "

Isn't it about time we began being more truthful? 

Won't that bring us closer to our true selves?

Give yourself permission to not be perfect, and instead focus on progress.

Affirm to yourself that you are important and deserving of love and respect. 

Feel entitled to create happiness and success in all that you do.

Create the things that you really want to do.

Take action to fulfill your needs through the expression of who you are.

Be kind to yourself and others.

Don't worry about the future.

Don't dwell on the past.

Enjoy every moment of the present - YOU can make it happen.

LET GO AND HEAL

LET GO AND HEAL

Why should you let go of  pain and resentment?  

Wouldn't it be better to replace your hurt with unconditional love for yourself?  

It may sound farfetched, but think about it..   

When you hold onto your pain, who suffers?   

Mainly, you do! Not only that, but you also end up dragging along everyone else around you.  

So, why not resolve whatever it is that is holding you back?   

What more would be possible for you, if you  chose to go beyond?

What kind of a person would you be without that old pain?

Why not free yourself to be the loving and giving person you truly are?  

You know that's all you really want to do..  

You cannot be genuinely happy if you hold onto any negative energy - you cannot be whole. 

You cannot be truly balanced.  

Why not take this incredible amount of energy and put it to good use, instead of having it work against you?  

Perhaps you could invest this time in finding what your true purpose is.

A good place to start, would be to do something that you love to do, and create a way for it to be lucrative for you.   

You see, we always have a choice: we can drown deeper in our misery or we can use our creative, innate abilities to work on our behalf.  

It is always a matter of choice!

THE POWER OF THE MIND

Using the power of your mind

Our mind is an amazingly powerful tool. It can be our greatest ally, but on the same token, it can also be our most dangerous adversary - it is up to you to decide ...

So how do we gain more control over our minds?

First and foremost, let's consider our end result - what is it that we are hoping to achieve.

If it is happiness, peace, and fulfillment, we need to learn how to balance ourselves from the inside, so we can become a part of the harmonious flow of life. 

we must train ourselves to continually cultivate  feelings of unconditional love and acceptance for ourselves.

We must make it our number one goal to tend to our overall sense of well being.

For that, we must stop looking for reasons to disapprove ourselves!

We must give ourselves permission to release the stressors and discomforts of our daily living.

How? Simply by embracing anything that comes our way - the good, the bad and yes, the ugly too - realizing  they all serve a purpose. 

Remind yourself that whatever you are going through at the moment, will eventually pass, but you can still ask yourself: what is my "takeaway" from this experience? 

Clear your mind, allow the natural healing process of your body and mind take over - it knows what to do. 

Rather then sinking into darkness, observe your thoughts and feelings.

Inform yourself: I am aware these are just thoughts and I can change them whenever I choose to. 

Clear out all temporary negativity - it is NOT who you are.

Do not allow any negative energy weigh you down - free yourself, convert the heaviness  to what you WANT to feel -become lighter and happier.

You will find that akin to a darkened sky, the clouds will drift away once you allow the space for the sun to shine. 

Awareness removes ambiguity - while slowly dissipating, you will get the answers to all that you seek.

DEFINING LEADERSHIP

How do you define leadership? 
When you think of the word leader what images come to your mind?

Are you thinking of the president, a king of some distant country, or the CEO of a major company?

Who is a leader?

A leader is someone who is inspiring empowering. It is a person who gives a sense of security and instills trust in others. 
Can a mother be considered a leader of her children and family? Of course she can, and she most definitely is! 
Anyone who is in a position of authority, whether it is a group or a conglomerate, holds a responsibility for others.

Responsibility, respond - ability ... Someone who has the ability to respond. 
So what is so special about that?

Our brain is wired partly animal - in our most basic nature - we all possess the ability to respond when we feel threatened, ready to attack.

We can also respond favorably to positive  stimulation.

The question is how do we CHOOSE to respond, when we say or act in a specific way. 
Do you tend to be happy and loving or fear stricken? 
A true leader is not only responsible for others, but he is also responsible for himself - held accountable for his words and actions. 
The true image of a leader is someone who knows others are "watching him" , learning from his behavior and actions.

What kind of examples are you setting for others? 
Are you saying one thing and acting out another?

I suggest a rule of thumb: treat others as YOU would like and expect to be treated!

After all love thy neighbor is not only when everything is "peachy", but rather when things are not ....

BELIEVE IN YOURSELF

We all experience times of being afraid of something. 

There are times when fear alerts us of a possible danger.  

Conversely, many other times fear can get in our way and interfere with our daily living. 

Our challenge is to discern between the real fears and the phantom ones so that we can better handle them.

So what should you do when that feeling of fear is creeping?

1 - Do not try to ignore and pretend it's not there! Instead decide to look it right in the eye and find out what you are exactly afraid of - that will give you clarity. 

Why? Because you are bigger than it is... just because you are not feeling secure at the moment, for any reason, does not mean that it defines who you are. 

2 - become aware of your internal dialogue - what are you saying to yourself that makes you afraid.

3 - ask yourself: what's the worst thing that can happen? After you spend a few minutes thinking, you'll find out why the "monster" is not as threatening as you had initially perceived it to be.

4 - visualize yourself facing your fear and overcoming it - picturing the scenario and seeing yourself overcoming it, will increase your confidence and sense of security. 

After you've considered all of the above, you'll discover that you have much more control than you thought you had.

The last step to succeed in this process is to first and foremost, BELIEVE IN YOURSELF - take action and arrive at your destination.

HOW TO BE HAPPY EVERYDAY

How to be happy everyday?

Practice it!

Each of us is a vessel containing an energetic vibration, which can potentially change at any given moment.

High vibration equals - happiness, love, fulfillment, etc.

Low vibration equals - sadness, anger, dissatisfaction, etc.

Who is responsible for our energetic frequency = how we feel? 

We are, of course!

Awareness leads us to the understanding that each of us transmits a certain frequency, depending upon our feelings.

So if I find myself vibrating at a low frequency (anger, hatred, disappointment, etc) I know I have the capability to raise my own vibration.

But it will not happen, unless I choose ... To change!

Why would I choose to be happy?

Because that's how I want to feel!

Do you know anyone who deliberately does not want to experience happiness?

Most of us want to be in a state of joy, that is when we function at our best.

So what determines how our day is going to be like?

If I spend most of the day smiling and I feeling good, I'll probably be happy.

However, if I get upset easily, and become overall dissatisfied by everyone and everything,   I will not be so happy...

Our happiness level is measured by HOW we feel.

So, happiness is not something that just happens to us, but it is something we do actively - that's what makes us happy!

If we do a simple Google search, there is no doubt we can find many tips and all kinds of recipes to happiness.

Taking care of our mind and body, spending time with family and friends,
cultivating gratitude and appreciation, maintaining optimism, having a sense of purpose and meaning to life, living in the moment - just a few of many ways that we can provide for ourselves  with moments of happiness. 

However, the quickest way to change our state of mind, is none other than being aware of it!

Check with myself, out of love and concern for my own good - to ascertain how I feel at any given moment.

Awareness is generated by choice - how I want to feel, verses how I feel right now?

Practice makes perfect - the more we actively train ourselves to feel good, the happier, more loving we will be ...

Imagine the endless possibilities ....

OPPORTUNITY FOR CHANGE

Each day unveils an  enlightenment - a certain energy that affords one with the unique opportunity to repair oneself - to grow, evolve and change.

No day is the same - as we become more aware of ourselves, we become more aware of our own emotions as well as the emotions of others - we're more open to learning and enlightenment.

We must take advantage of all the opportunities that face us every day, for personal development and learning.

Why? Because no matter what happened yesterday, We always have the option to erase everything that was, and begin anew. 

I connect to the forces of the universe, draw them into me to help overcome obstacles, and do my best to turn them into opportunities.

So how do I make a change despite all the mistakes of the past?

When I come to the realization that the Creator/universe, created the world for my betterment - not to punish me for my wrongdoings.

God only gives, he can not take ...

When I realize that I myself have created the darkness that is currently in my life, with my own hands, and that's what is causing destruction in my life. I understand that there is no one to blame: not my parents, not the teacher, not the clerk at the bank, or God ...

I can not change the events of the past - what's done is done. 

The question is, what do I do now?

So, I made a mistake, "I have deviated from my path... But I can always change my ways and start over".

There is always an opportunity for us start everything from scratch.

It's just a matter of choice ...

FLOW OF ABUNDANCE ...

Everyone has the notion that Yom Kippur (day of atonement) is a day of fasting and suffering, so we can be forgiven. 

In fact Yom Kippur is a day of celebration and joy.

Yes ...

It is a day in which abundance and goodness is available to everyone.

It is as if a bank opens its doors for one day and invites each and every one of us to take as much money as we want, without having to give it back. 
 
What we actually need to do is do some work in our hearts.

1 - release and forgive all those who hurt us.

2 - real commitment to correct ourselves even if it is one negative trait; Then all the barriers will be removed and abundance will flow to us freely. 
 
May we always be a clear and open channel to the flow of abundance coming through us all.
