Last night, my 23 year old son called me, to express his frustrations:
"I don't know mom, I want to do so many things .. and it just seems to me that every day follows the next, and nothing ever changes...I want to do something big, what I'm doing now isn't enough ..."
I told my son that I understand and I'm so happy that he wants more out of life, but he needs to be patient.
I said: " I'm so proud of you! It's great that you have goals, you know what you want, and that you're passionate about it, but you must realize that things take time".
As long as you do what needs to be done, while keeping your eyes on your target, you'll achieve anything that you want".
"In the meantime", I continued, "enjoy the ride, and remember; in order for you to get to the top of the mountain, you must first begin by climbing it ..."
Life is about passion, excitement, enthusiasm and perseverance.
Success is the journey along the path; attaining the goal, is the icing on the cake.
