Is it true that when we sin (break the law) we get punished? What would happen if every time, we are "bad" or do any wrongful act we would immediately "get slapped??" Would there be anyone left in the world?
Fortunately, that is not how things work. The world we live in, is a world of kindness, compassion and unconditional love. God created the world for one purpose; so we can enjoy, relish and benefit from everything existing around us.
When we overstep boundaries, violate universal laws or do anything that goes against moral principles, it is not God that punishes us, it is ourselves.
In hindsight, we all make mistakes that we regret. However our conscience whispers to us the truth. We can escape the long arm of the law, but we can not escape ourselves.
We are given the chance to repent and correct the situation by doing the right thing.
When the world was created, there was no shortage. We experienced paradise.
Everything was taken care of, and that created a problem. It is apparent that our pleasure stems from the creation of something out of nothing.
If everything is given to us on a "golden platter," It goes against our nature; We can not tolerate when others tell us what to do or how to manage life, but prefer to do things on our own. This has a direct influence on our level of happiness.
In order to experience true joy and pleasure, we have to earn and create things on our own, otherwise we will not be truly happy.
What do you think is more pleasurable and fulfilling, winning a million dollars in the lottery or the satisfaction of earning it on your own by creating a new idea or business?
When we experience pain and suffering it is because our thoughts affect our emotions. The actual suffering is not hurting us, it is the thought about suffering and how we relate to it.
We can accept our failed attempts by adopting a winning attitude and turn our challenges into opportunities.
A strong connection to God/Creation, will give us the strength to rise above any challenge and the readiness to deal with it.
If you need any assistance in adopting this mindset/philosophy, it would be my pleasure to be your guide on this magnificent journey.
Much love
