CHANGE YOUR FOCUS CHANGE YOUR LIFE

Anxiety doesn't need to be chased away, it needs to be managed more effectively.

At times when we feel uncertain, we may experience stress and anxiety; Things appear to be worse than they are. 

We feel uncertain when we focus on what we don't want, believing it will help us control the negative outcome or the problem we are preparing ourselves for. 

Don't you think it would be much more productive if you shift your attention and focus on what you want instead? Perhaps, that will bring you closer towards your goals or the solution you're seeking. 

Begin by asking yourself how do I leverage what's positive and great in my life right now? What can I do today that will bring me closer to where I want to go?

You can gain control over your brain by navigating it towards the direction you want.

Once you train yourself to expect positive outcome, it will lessen the burden of the stress in your life. 

You can say to yourself; I don't know how to reach my goal (quit smoking) but I will keep my possibilities open. 

I will not repeat negative self talk because I know my brain will always find reasons why I can't do what I want to do. 

Give yourself permission to look for solutions; Keep that possibility alive. Be more creative, let go of your fear of failure. 

You will not give into fear because you know it will stimulate anxiety and it will prevent you from making the decisions that are right for you. 

Giving your brain positive instructions will decrease your anxiety and stress levels, and improve your confidence.  

By adjusting your focus you can change any outcome from negative to positive. 

Assess and explore your untapped power; What is keeping you away from your goals? 

Once you realize that your brain can change, you'll feel more empowered. 

Everyone wants to feel free to soar high and above, but what are you willing to do about it? 

By guiding your thought process, you will understand the spread between what's going on now and what you want in the future.

Become aware of your alternatives - write down a list, a table of what's going now and what is better about the future. 

Instead of trying to figure out why things are not working for you, why not  instead thrive, seek happiness and live life to the fullest? 

This will shift your brain into anxiety management mode.
