DON'T JUDGE ME UNTILL YOU'VE WALKED A MILE IN MY SHOES

We really shouldn't be too quick to judge others unless we have "walked a mile in their shoes."

Before we make an attempt to "figure someone out", perhaps we need to know ourselves first.

The more we direct our attention inwardly and focus on our thoughts and feelings, the more we'll gain a deeper understanding of who we truly are.

We pass judgments on others because it takes our attention away from our own issues, which often we prefer not to face.

It may be uncomfortable or even a little awkward to "inquire within", but there's no better way to get to know the true self.

When we ask questions, we begin to wonder, instead of settling for what we think or believe we know.

Our minds begins searching for answers and possibilities that otherwise, we may have not considered before.

The more parts of "the picture" we reveal, the more authentic we become.

If you wish to go on a "self excursion",  consider the
questions below.

Be mindful of your thoughts and notice how you feel while pondering your reply.

What do I want? Why do I want it?

Who will I become once I receive what I want?

What do I need to do in order to get what I want?

What is stopping me now?

What is most important to me in life?
What do I value most about my life?

What have I accomplished so far?

What else is possible for me?

Who will benefit once I make the necessary modifications in what needs to improve in my life?
