Can we learn something new when everything is crystal clear to us?
Not really!
When everything is "well-defined" for us, that means, we are still stuck in the old.
In order to learn a new concept, we need to release and eliminate our old thinking.
It is a new world that represents a "jump" into another reality.
When a person learns and makes changes, progress can be made possible for him.
What he used to accept as truth, appears to no longer be relevant in the present - it belongs to yesterday's reality.
Suddenly it seems completely meaningless and he even asks himself: "How was I there?"
The problem is that we all seek stability. We all want to have a sense of security that what we have today will also be there tomorrow.
But when we are in a place where everything is stable and secure, everything is clear and predictable, can we move forward?
And the answer is no!
Only when a person is afraid, he begins to be creative, only then, can he loosen the grip from what has been known to him.
Change should always be welcomed - we were created for this
purpose.
The following story will further clarify this idea.
A professional mountain climber, was making his way up along with his teammates, on a very tall, snowy mountain.
The night was dark and very cold. Suddenly, the mountain climber made a wrong move: he really wanted to get to the top before all other climbers, lost control and fell off the mountain.
Since he was a professional mountain climber, he was attached to the rope. He found himself on the line, hanging between earth and sky.
It was frigid and the terrible wind shook him back and forth ... He began to pray: "God, please help me ... save me .. What should I do?"
Suddenly he heard a voice: "Cut the rope"!
Then he shouted: "Is there anyone else here?"
In the morning, the mountain climber was found frozen to death, hanging on the line, two feet above a pile of snow ...
We all go through these situations in life. Sometimes we must get rid of the "rope" from which we are hanging to win in life, but we fail to see it because it's too "dark".
Although we can hear a voice inside that calls us to loosen the grip, we are still looking for something that would be comfortable for us to hear.
A person needs to have a strong mind to enable him to overcome his body trying to constantly pull him to the familiar, while his soul wants to continue to grow.
