EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT TO BE HAPPY

We are all here for an unknown period of time.

We are powerless when it comes to how long we will live for.

However, we are the ones who are responsible for the quality of our lives.

Looking back at the story of your life, you can choose to think about the hurtful remarks, unkind behaviors of others towards you, or the events that may have scarred you.

Does that bring any benefit to you?

I would think not..

There's always another way of looking at things.

Reliving the good times and creating new moments of joy is what life is truly about.

That's where happiness can be found, when we're creating it ourselves, in our minds.

Everything begins with just a thought.

We create everything.

To illustrate this more clearly, please try this excercise, preferably with your eyes closed.

I would like for you to go back in your mind and think of a moment when you felt hopeless, sad, not feeling good about yourself.

Give yourself a minute to get there and see it in your minds eye.

Then, come back to the present moment.

How do you feel on a scale from 1 to 10?

10 - absolutely wonderful.
1 - really sad.

Please get up and shake your body a little. Just so you can clear up your energy field.

This time, think about a happy moment that may have happened today or at any other time in your life.

Now that you have that image in your mind, see who else was there with you.

See everything about this moment, bring it to life.

Feel what you felt, see what you saw..

Think about how happy you were, how did you look, what were you saying to yourself?

Now, come back to the present moment.

How do you feel on a scale from 1 to 10?

Remember, 1 - bad
10 - really good.

Notice how quickly you can bring yourself from one state of mind, to another.

Would you like for me to let you in on a little secret?

You can actually do this at any time you wish!

If you'd like to regain control over your life, choose what is on your mind..

Think HAPPY
