Turning Anger Into An Asset
Anger is an emotional and physical response that occurs when triggered by external stimuli, manifested by sensations of pain, discomfort, threat, etc.
When we perceive in our minds wrongful behavior by others and consequently feel anger, the source reason for the irritability may be subconscious, rather than pertaining to our current situation.
The reaction to what is happening around us, depends upon our interpretation. When we are quick to respond, it is as if an invisible button is pressed and we may automatically feel the need to defend ourselves. Our behavior is a direct reflection of the choices we make.
What can you do in a moment of anger?
Stop - Do not let the pot stirring within you boil over! Granted, it's not easy, but it is achievable. The more you practice, the better you'll become at controlling yourself.
Focus - shift the focus from yourself to the person in front of you - what happened to him? I wonder why he is acting this way?
Do not take things personally; look at every situation as an opportunity to learn something about yourself.
Faith - the more self-absorbed a person is, the more anxious and impatient he'll be. The less worried about his personal affairs, (why do I deserve this, why me, etc.) having complete confidence that God is in charge, will decrease anger, fear, worry and tension.
Observing - spend time getting to know and understand yourself better. Ask yourself what is really bothering me? What triggered me?
Gratitude - see the good in everything.
Fulfillment - realize the opportunity for improvement and self-development.
Life Lessons - there are no coincidences; There is a reason for everything.
Acceptance - see pain, trouble and sorrow as a way to purify yourself from iniquities of the past (karma). This is an opportunity to transcend and embrace a spiritual and healthier outlook on life.
Expand your point of view - develop the ability to see the big picture - when triggered, ask, "What will I gain in contrast to what I could lose if I allow myself to become angry?
What is healthier, to be relaxed and calm or irritable and cranky?
Do I have to be angry? Does it help me ??
Negative emotions over a long period of time can be harmful to our health. The amount of white blood cells decrease and the immune system becomes compromised. This may result in the development of various diseases.
On the other hand, when we control negative emotions we become healthier in body and mind. We have self-control, are more loving, warm, calm, accepting and understanding.
Practical Tools For Dealing With Anger:
Pay attention to your body language - Are you frowning and looking furious?
Force yourself to smile - This will bring about a physiological change to help you overcome the internal turmoil.
When someone makes you angry, avoid eye contact. This will give you time to relax and relieve tension.
Keep a journal - Take a moment to write what you feel in order to neutralize your response. This will give you sufficient time to process and become more rational.
Choose to release anger. Choose to be free and happy.
with love

SHANA TOVA 2015
Wishing everyone a sweet new year, a year of happiness and health, a year of prosperity and success, a new year of security and relaxation, a year of peace and tranquility.
May we have a year of positive change, a year full of joy and excitement in all that we do.
May we have the sense to focus on what's important to us and let go of what is no longer beneficial, may we have the ability to move forward in life more emboldened and confident.
May we live together in unity, cooperation and mutual respect.
May this year bring upon us the recognition of the value of love, may we have the sense and strength to give it wholeheartedly and unconditionally.
May we be full of excitement in anticipation to experience life from a place of curiosity and wonder.
May we be less serious and more playful and mischievous.
May we release bottled up negative feelings and be free to love, because that's what makes us feel whole, happiest, and content.

WHO DO YOU WANT TO BE TODAY
Imagine a situation were you come home from work, and just as you walk in the door you hear your husband's angry voice yelling at someone on the phone.
You can feel the intense energy around you, but you do not let it affect you.
Instead of becoming anxious you feel completely relaxed.
You know his anger is not directed toward you, you realize that his current state of mind has nothing to do with you, so you decide to go about your way from a place of inner peace.
You're clear-minded, doing your best to listen and understand what all the commotion is about.
You choose your response in a constructive manner and from a place of self control.
The result: You remain powerful and safe - how does that sound to you?
Wouldn't you want to be in charge of your own emotions?
Unfortunately, in our younger years, many of us, have witnessed situations where people around us have easily lost control and behaved in an irresponsible manner.
These incidents can adversely affect us and cause us to make choices/determinations/rules, that we may end up carrying with us for the rest of our lives.
Once these memories are embeds in our minds, especially if they tend to reoccur, they may become a part of who we are.
Awareness brings the understanding that we have a choice.
We do not have to relive our past experiences. We do not have to let them take over our minds and cause us to act automatically just because they seem familiar to us.
Once we realize that our emotional world determines the quality of our lives, we're able to make the right choices for ourselves.
We can decide not to carry our past "on our backs", realizing that we are not our parent or uncle ...
This acknowledgement can only be reached once we realize who we want to be.
We can stop feeling like a "victim of circumstance" and instead of succumbing to reaction, we can face our challenges from a proactive stand point.
Anger and frustration can never be the right solution.
Developing compassion and a clear understanding of the situations at hand will promote peace and calm.
Imagine how you would feel if you approached any potential explosive situation from a place of safety.
Think about how proud and powerful you will feel knowing that you're in control, that you're the only one who governs your mind and body.
You're a lot more powerful than you think you are!

ALL WE NEED IS LOVE
What do we really want?
All I want is to love.
To experience the feeling of being loved; the immense joy of giving unconditional love.
Love gives us a sense of comfort; We can breathe better, feeling more secure, similar to cuddling in a soft sofa.
When I feel loved, I find it easier to love, it feels more natural to me ... It appears as if everything else becomes lighter somehow.
That's the feeling of love.
Nothing can possibly be compared to this wondrous feeling.
When we feel loved and treated with care, we feel valued, we feel important; Like we make a difference in the lives of others.
We feel a growing sense of confidence and assurance; We're more vibrant and full of life.
When we are in the vibration of love, we're most powerful, we have a heightened awareness; Knowing how to choose what's best for us, but never forgetting the well-being of others.
Love gives us a feeling like no other; A fertile soil in which we're able to plant the seeds of our vision; Creating more happiness in our lives and everyone around us.
No matter what happens along the way, love always wins. It's the basis of everything.
Thanks to the power of love, we can always rise above and beyond.
Overcome troubling emotions such as fear, and anger, and make room for love in your heart by simply connecting to the energy of love within yourself.
Create meaningful relationships by developing compassion and forgiveness.
Forgive those who have hurt you; Let go of the past and move forward to a brighter future.
Communicate your emotions truthfully; Find your own peace, joy, and creative power.
Transform your life for the better while making the world a more peaceful place.

PROBLEMS CANNOT BE SOLVED BY THE MINDS THAT CREATED THEM
Here's an exercise to help you make an effective change rather than hoping for things to be different.
Take a sheet of paper and a pen and draw two circles apart from each other. One on top, and the other on bottom half of the paper.
On the top circle, write your present obstacles; Things that are currently limiting you from getting what you desire. ( procrastination, fear, self doubt, poor self image, etc)
On the bottom circle list all the things you want; Things you desire in your life (better relationships with your mate, make more money, increase self confidence, etc) be specific.
Now you have two circles in front of you. Take a good look at them: these two circles are not related to each other. They are two completely separate entities; Two very different "movies" or sceneries we all tend to spend time thinking about.
The mistake we make is thinking that hanging in circle one will get us to circle two... Unfortunately, it DOESNT!!
We look at circle one, our challenges or difficult situations, and see the areas of our lives we need to work on or improve, for example; "I need to work on having a better relationship with my husband".
The mistake we make, is thinking that when we look at the problems in our lives, we're trying to improve them.
The question is, what do you focus on when trying to improve your life, where is your attention?
On circle one right?
Keeping your focus on circle one will never get you to circle two - what you really want!
As long as you stay there nothing will change!
As Albert Einstein said,
"Problems cannot be solved with the same mind set that created them."
We need to move into a higher level of consciousness; To become more aware of where we are spending or directing our energy towards.
Today, instead of thinking about how to cope, create something new, something you did not have before.

PAIN IS FEAR
We experience fear when we expect a potential pain.
Fear causes us to focus only on the painful aspects of our lives.
It is as if we are being haunted by our pain, while completely disregarding all the goodness in our lives.
If I'm experiencing fear, invariably, it is because I'm relying on the memory of an old pain or the pain in someone else's past.
Misunderstanding, ignorance and our inability to cope, creates fear.
Furthermore, a lack of awareness leads us to examine events and conditions in our reality in a partial or distorted way.
When we're connected to the Light of Creation, to the infinite, we can establish and gain trust.
However, this spiritual power requires recognition, readiness and preparedness.
A strong connection to God, Creation, brings about the knowledge that fear can lead to a disconnect.
This is what gives us the strength to rise above the fear, and the readiness to deal with it.

CHOOSE TO BE HAPPY
What is the purpose of life? Is it to get up in the morning just to live another recycled day?
We came here to discover who we are: to use our imagination in order to innovate and create our most desired life.
If we do not wake up now, if we continue to live our lives without knowing what we are seeking, how will we
get there?
There are no "free meals" - we must invest our best efforts in order to become successful in all realms of life.
We must broaden our horizons, to accustom ourselves to see the big picture, beyond our own personal slot.
Expand your experiences, especially the most challenging ones.
Incidents, situations and people do not just appear in your way; "out of nowhere" they are there to help you grow and develop.
I'm sure you had your share of failures and disappointments from time to time, and you probably know what pain feels like ...
It's all a part of the journey of life.
The best way to cope and overcome any "bumps on the road", is to decide to never ever give up on your vision to live a happy life.
Stop pointing the finger allowing yourself to feel like a victim. There is no one to blame. Not even yourself. It is not helpful or effective.
All you have to do is take responsibility for yourself.
It is important to learn this, because the only way to truly achieve something that's worthwhile to carry with you to the future, is what you created yourself - a treasure of experiences that build you up, block after block.
You're already here. Do not let desperation win you over. Begin to see in your imagination all the things around you working out for the best.
The power is already within you to realize all your dreams and aspirations. Now all you need to do is make a choice, firstly, to be happy because you can!

MONEY IS JUST ENERGY
You may have grown up in an environment that perceived money as being scarce or hard to earn.
Perhaps you've been taught to believe that money is the "source of all evil" and therefore you shouldn't strive to obtain any.
In any case, if you're under the assumption that money is hard to come by, or you're holding a belief that rich people are "evil creatures", don't be surprised if you're having financial struggles.
This pattern of thought is not only holding the energy of money (actual currency) flowing to you, but it may also keep you stuck in other areas of your life.
We need to keep reminding ourselves that just like everything else in its purest form, money is also just energy.
Feel free to be on the receiving end, and allow money flow to you naturally and
effortlessly ~~~~~~~
Say to yourself: I am worthy and deserving of living life joyously and abundantly.
I am open and welcoming of all money coming to me.

LARGER THAN LIFE
In business as in life, when a sense of vision and values is existent, there is an increase in productivity.
Recognition of values as well as having a shared vision, are above the material.
We came here to serve, to shine brightly in our Light and make a difference in the world for something greater than ourselves.
It is Vitale that we build around ourselves a community, a core that has a strong sense of the common good - a solid base of people who are consciously aware of the importance of contribution and influence.
We must always strive to search for ways to help others and contribute to a goal that is bigger than us.
When you do good upon others, what you produce for yourself is also larger than life.

A MATTER OF PERSPECTIVE
It's all a matter of perspective ...
The "problems" we encounter in life, are necessary "stepping stones", if you will, in order to achieve transcendence and become better in some way.
There isn't anything random about life, nothing occurs "out of nowhere".
What we are currently experiencing in our reality, is the result of all the actions we have taken so far.
Dwelling on the past in misery, blaming ourselves, or pointing the finger at others for creating the problems and issues we now have, isn't productive.
We must never lose hope. On the contrary: we need to empower ourselves to be able to see a brighter future.
To step forward with confidence that tomorrow will be a better day.
It's a no brainer! Think about it, what's the alternative, allow ourselves to sink deeper into an endless abyss of depression? What good comes out of it?
Often times our perception of reality isn't completely true.
When you become accustomed to seeing your life in a positive way it will supersede any feelings of desperation.
Keep your mind open to considering new ways of seeing things.
Be grateful for having the good fortunate for even waking up in the morning.
In the end what matters most is how you CHOOSE to see yourself. Remember, it's your life and only you can live it.

I HAVE NO PROBLEMS IN MY LIFE
"I know that in order to solve my problems, I should not focus on them, otherwise they will become more intense, and the solution will drift farther away from me."
"I also know that my problems are a temporary thing, I do not identify with them, they are not who I am."
What will happens if you woke up in the morning and found out that all your problems disappeared by themselves, what will you do now?
Maybe your problems are not something external? Perhaps it's about the inner work you need to do with yourself?
In fact we have no problem as long as we do not define it as a problem. So basically we have no enemies, the only enemy we have is within us - the one that we allow to control us sometimes ...
It's time to do some "housecleaning" and rid ourselves of everything that we give the power to control us.
Decided to stop the enslavement - agreeing to something external to dictate your life and keep you in slavery.
Do not wait to be happy. If you continue to wait, you'll always wait.
Do not look for fulfillment and content
from external sources, instead, produce it yourself - create something out of nothing.
Use your imagination often - it will allow you to be more open as well as improve your creativity.
Internalize that you are the one who decides how to conduct your life.
Take the initiative - good intentions with no action taken will lead you nowhere.
Good luck!

I FORGIVE YOU FOR ME
Forgiveness is divine and it gives you a chance to be a better person.
We've all been treated poorly, hurt, disappointed and or experienced some heartache at some point in our lives.
Within us, we develop feelings ranging from hopeless despair, to raging anger that often times, can lead to explosive situations.
We harden up and tend to build an impermeable wall around us in attempt to protect ourselves from any future hurt.
The problem is that unresolved past pain may cause us to lose trust and often become overly suspicious and withdrawn.
We end up drifting farther and farther away from who we truly are.
However, identifying with the pain and making it a part of who we are, is not the answer.
That's where forgiveness comes in.
You may ask but why should I forgive? My pain is legitimate I was wronged .. But is that the best way to live your life?
Remaining in "blame mode", unable to forgive others, only ends up hurting us - we pay the ultimate price!
Ask yourself: is it worth it for me? Is this who I want to be?
Forgiveness is an essential part of any human relationship, without it, there isn't much hope that any relationship can survive.
Renewing trust is not just a decision—it’s a lifestyle change. It's about letting go and becoming yourself again.
Forgiveness doesn't mean that you subject yourself to more suffering, but in actuality, you free yourself in the process.

FACE YOUR FEARS
What if you gathered the courage to see your fear as an opportunity??
How would you handle it if you knew that it's purpose was to change you - to transform and reach a higher, more upgraded level of existence?
How powerful would you feel if you knew that it can transmute any negativity into pureness of heart?
What if you could turn anger into peace and harmony, depression into self confidence and self love?
Unresolved fear can often turn into anger and feelings of victimhood. It can keep you closed up with no ability to see the "light."
In order to empower yourself, you need to do the thing that you are most fearful of.
Once you overcome fear and conquer your personal demons, transformation will occur - you will feel invincible and the way to your goals will be paved naturally.
It's time to STEP UP!
Stop getting ready already, and BEGIN living your destiny.

PAIN IS INEVITABLE SUFFERING IS OPTIONAL
Pain is inevitable; suffering is optional.
None of us really "like" to suffer. We don't sit there and say to ourselves: "today, I'm going to do everything in my power to purposely cause myself to suffer..."
So why do we do it?
Often times we're not aware of the negative self talk that's going on in our heads.
We're so used to thinking and feeling in a certain way, and then it inevitably becomes a pattern.
We don't spend the time thinking if it is good for us, and healthy for us to keep our mind on_____?
Can we change what once happened? Wouldn't it be better if we began looking at pain from a different perspective?
Pain is designed to purify and make us humble; to be genuine toward ourselves and others.
It enables us to gain a better understanding of the agony of others. It's there to make it easier for us to remove our masks, and uncover our real selves - it's okay to hurt.
Nonetheless, there's another alternative, we don't have to keep wallowing in our grief.
We can choose to love ourselves enough and put the pain from the past where it belongs... behind us.
It’s time to stop looking in the rear view mirror and focus on the road ahead of you - a life filled with endless possibilities.

STOP WORRYING AND START LIVING
We all spend much of our time worrying. Sometimes we have a good reason to be concerned, and other times, it's our natural survival instincts that awaken in us.
Often times we worry when we spend our time thinking about events from the past, or events that hadn't occurred yet in the distant future; completely disregarding the NOW moment.
Either way, it isn't a healthy state to be in for long periods of time.
Here are 6 effective ways to lower our levels of concern:
1) Breathe: Deeply and slowly (we sometimes forget to just breathe)
2) Assess the facts: Ask yourself; “Am I facing clear and present danger?”
Why am I worried?
3) Keep yourself occupied: Shift your focus elsewhere
4) Reality check: How much truth is in your worry and how much of it is your imagination?
5) Be present: Limit your thoughts only to what is happening in the moment
6) And finally, don't forget to smile. Have trust that everything happens for a reason and that whatever you are concerned with will eventually pass.

SHARE YOUR MAGIC
We all have a sphere of influence that we are not aware of. Every one of us is glowing with their own Light - the energy frequency within us that creates the need to touch those
we encounter.
We are filled with Divine energy that affects each person we walk by.
We have the power to touch anyone we come across to their very core.
Next time you go to the grocery store, the gas station or you go to pick up your child from school, just for a moment forget about your personal issues, and think about engaging and shining your light.
It's not a chore that you have to do. It's not a task that requires any special or complicated moves..
It's about showing kindness and love. It's about being there for others not only in order to help them but to help yourself as well.
It's a way of "paying forward", a way for you to add some goodness to the world around you.
There's no better feeling than the knowing that YOU made the difference in someone's day - so much power in that!
I challenge you today to pass along a flower, a smile, a kind gesture or a simple hello to a stranger. And watch how your day unfolds.
I would love for you to share the magic that you created today and that you can experience every day.

LIFE'S A DANCE
"Life is an everlasting dance... sometimes we miss a step or two only to start over and perform better than before ..."
When crisis shows up on your door step, instead of losing control, feeling overwhelmed, etc, ask yourself: what is the gift in this? What can I learn? How can this contribute to my growth?
Or you can say, this is not in alignment with my free will....
Get humble - there's much value in being humble, say: please God lessen my load this is too much for me to handle.
Keep in mind that just as things rise, they pass.. Like waves in the endless sea..
Dance life's dance, perfect your skills, and continue to learn and grow as you go.
As long as you're "on stage", there's still a chance for you to shine as brightly as the sun.

CHOOSE YOURSELF
What can I tell you .. I'm having a hard time", said Ruth. "I know I have to make changes, she continued in her troubled voice, "but somehow I can not bring myself to get up and do what I need to do".
In my work as a life coach, I often come across similar cases to that of Ruth. She is not alone ...
There are many women who "wake up" and decide that they've had enough.
For the longest time, they were busy with their family and home affairs, and then all of a sudden realize they do not even know who they really are and what they truly want beyond their family nest.
It's not that taking care of themselves did not matter to them, it's just that it wasn't their first priority.
Most of their time and energy is invested in caring for the family, then when they reach a certain period, which usually comes after the children are grown, they feel that it's no longer enough for them: They want more from life.
Often times, that is when the conflict arises: on one hand they say: I deserve to realize myself, I fulfilled my duty to my family .. and on the other hand they do not want to feel the guilt as they proclaim confidently - it's my time now!
What they do not fully recognize, is that it does not have to be this or that, because they can have both; There just needs to be balance.
To all women out there: it's not to late! You can still go after what your heart desires and it doesn't have to take a toll on your family.
All you have to do is LOVE yourself enough! Make your wants and needs your first priority! And no, that doesn't make you selfish.
On the contrary! Set an example for your children and the people around you. Take a bold step forward, decide that YOUR happiness and inner fulfillment are what is most important.
Because if you're not happy, how can anyone around you, enjoy the real you?
